Cosy season is officially upon us. The temperature is dropping, the nights are drawing in and suddenly staying warm, slowing down and enjoying a little more time for ourselves sounds very appealing.
We love this time of year at The Salon Company, our hair and beauty salon in Hayling Island. There’s something lovely about stepping in from the cold, settling into the chair with a warm drink and letting someone else look after you for a while.
And we have plenty happening in the salon this autumn, including two gorgeous new treatments, Christmas goodies arriving and our very first Black Friday event.
A Warm Welcome to Emma
First of all, we’re delighted to welcome our new apprentice, Emma, to The Salon Company team.
Supporting the next generation of hair and beauty professionals is something we’re really passionate about. We believe in giving our team the time, training and encouragement they need to learn, build confidence and progress in their careers.

Two New Treatments Are Arriving
We have not one, but two new treatments joining our menu this month, and we think you’re going to love them.
milk_shake K-Respect Keratin System
If frizz, unruly hair or time spent battling with your hair every morning sounds familiar, this one is for you.
The milk_shake K-Respect Keratin System is a professional keratin smoothing treatment designed to tame frizz, improve manageability and leave your hair feeling beautifully soft and smooth with a gorgeous glossy finish.
The £150 treatment takes approximately 90 minutes to two hours. We begin by cleansing your hair, then apply the treatment and leave it to develop for 30 minutes. It is then blow-dried into the hair and sealed with straighteners, before we cleanse your hair again and finish with styling.
It can also make everyday styling much easier, with results lasting approximately three to five months, depending on your hair and aftercare routine.

Walking on Air Foot Spa
Your feet work hard, so we think they deserve a little attention too.
Our new Walking on Air Foot Spa is 45 minutes dedicated entirely to your feet and, quite frankly, it sounds like heaven.
Lie back with a cooling eye mask while our beauty experts soothe, scrub, massage and hydrate tired feet. It’s a chance to completely switch off while we do all the hard work.

A lovely treat after a busy week, before a special occasion or simply because your feet deserve it. A fabulous Christmas gift for that special someone too if you need gift inspiration.

Christmas Is Coming
We know, we know… it’s only October. But Christmas has a habit of arriving rather quickly!
Our Christmas stock will begin arriving this month, including beautiful milk_shake gift boxes, Odet jewellery gift sets and beauty packages.
If you love giving something a little more thoughtful at Christmas, pop in and have a browse. We’ll have plenty of lovely ideas for friends, family, teachers or anyone who deserves a little pampering.
And, of course, Salon Company gift vouchers are always available if you’d rather let them choose their own treat.

We always want to be open with our clients, so we wanted to let you know that there will be some changes to our prices.
Running The Salon Company has always been about much more than providing a great haircut or beauty treatment. We want every visit to feel special, from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave.
We employ our team and invest in their ongoing education, training and career development. We choose professional products that we believe in, keep improving our treatments and services and, of course, make sure there are lovely refreshments waiting for you when you arrive.
Like many small businesses, the costs behind providing that experience continue to change throughout the year. Rather than simply reviewing our prices once annually, we now need to make smaller adjustments when necessary so that we can continue delivering the standard of service you expect from us.

Our First Ever Black Friday Event
We’re doing something new this November…
For the first time ever, The Salon Company is taking part in Black Friday, with some very special added value on gift vouchers purchased online over the weekend.
The event will run from midnight at the start of Friday 27 November until the end of Sunday 29 November 2026.
Purchase a gift voucher during the event and we’ll add:
- 10% extra to gift cards under £200
- 20% extra to gift cards between £200 and £999
- 30% extra to gift cards of £1,000 or more
Black Friday vouchers can be used from 2 January 2027 and will be valid for one year.
Vouchers must be purchased online through our website during the Black Friday event.
We’ll be sharing more information and a few teasers on our social media and website as we get closer, so make sure you’re following us.
A Little Christmas Reminder
Finally, if you already know you’ll want fresh colour, beautiful nails, a festive blow-dry or a beauty treatment before Christmas, please don’t leave it too late to book.
December is always an incredibly busy month in the salon and our most popular appointments fill quickly. Booking early gives you the best chance of getting the day and time you’d like.
